Other Events

Stringybark Festival
was on 15-16th October 2011 at Rowville Community Centre, Melbourne.

We were on the 'expert panel' at 12 noon answering questions on sustainable homes. We also gave a talk on 'What's the story with Solar'. It was a great family day out with loads of things to see and do.

Sustainable House Day was on 11th September, 2011

This national event offered a great opportunity to take a look at what others have done in your area to make their home more sustainable. Homes were open to the public from 10am to 4pm and it was another great success. Click on the link below for more information.

MBA Building & Home Improvement Expo
Melbourne 15th to 17th July 2011

WOW - what a weekend! We were very busy at the Sustainability Hot Spot and managed to help out everyone who stopped for a chat. We reviewed renovation and building plans, answered questions on everything from solar PV to black water worm farm treatment systems and everyone found it very rewarding. The draw for our free Sustainability Review was won by S.H. in Eltham. The free copy of the small business Sustainable Growth book goes to S.R. of Eco Water Proofing Systems. We hope to see you at the next one!
