Green Property Professional training

Green Property ProfessionalGreen building is becoming mainstream and the property industry is changing.  Along with client preferences and demand for the buildings they want to invest in or occupy.  Sustainability features that improve capital value and lower operating costs is becoming a requirement, not just for Government Tenancies, but also for organisations who are financially savvy and looking to grow.

Now is the time for all property professionals to up-skill and  gain knowledge so that they can offer more value for their clients, demonstrate that they understand the market changes and can promote green buildings to their best advantage.  All of which is important to gaining confidence of vendors and landlords, and assisting with closing deals.

Sustainability in Commercial Real Estate short course is to assist those in the real estate industry to identify, understand and promote efficient and sustainable commercial buildings. The course has been designed by leading sustainability consultants in the built environment and has been contributed to by the various key industry bodies including the Green Building Council of Australia, NABERS, Commercial Building Disclosure program and RICS.

Sustainable Homes Program

shp-logoThe Sustainable Homes Program is a series of workshops generally run for local councils, covering energy, water, waste and gardens. It was put together by the South East Climate Change Alliance (SECCA – a group of local councils in the South East of Melbourne) with assistance from the CSIRO and the ACF. Check your local council to see what programs they have available.
