With a background spanning international banking, information technology, management,  stakeholder engagement, compliance, risk and audit, strategic planning and education, Danielle is well placed to make informed and practical views on the ever changing challenges that businesses face.

The recent legal opinions on directors responsibilities regarding climate risk provide the backdrop for bringing Danielle’s  skills and climate knowledge together in the one package.

Danielle King

Danielle has over 30 years experience working  in both private and public sectors.  Her involvement with property, business and sustainability advisory forums over the years has benefited many.  She is currently working with the Victorian State Government and is a long term member of the Sustainability Advisory Board at the Building Designers Association of Victoria (BDAV).

Other Board level experience includes Founder and Director of a successful small private consulting company (Green Moves Aust.) and Director and Secretary for a Not for Profit online training organisation, the Green Building Institute.

She successfully ran her own IT consulting business in London for over 13 years, before returning home to Australia in 2002.

Danielle has participated in a wide variety of sustainability committees and community engagement programs.

Her expertise has been sought by the media and higher education facilities.  She has also been involved in industry research projects and responded to regulatory impact statements.

Her consultative manner, flexibility and forward thinking provide a resource who is easy to work with, highly knowledgeable and an active member of a team.
