Transforming Governance with Green Moves

Lady speaking with advisory committee

Green Moves director, Danielle King, has worked on advisory boards, committees and forums of government organisations and forward-thinking companies. These organisations have taken the lead by proactively implementing measures that address climate risks.

As part of their duty of care, directors are considering climate change risks, and have been increasingly seeking Danielle King’s expert climate knowledge and skills to be brought on advisory boards and committees.

Danielle King ensures the ESG (environmental, social and governance) aspects of business are balanced and sustainable. She brings with her a wealth of experience and authority in the industry.

Why climate risk mitigation is important for organisations

In recent years, we’ve seen natural catastrophes and extreme weather events drastically increase in frequency and severity, causing significant economic losses and human suffering. This highlights the importance of climate risk mitigation and adaptation for organisations.

It’s not just about meeting regulatory requirements or reducing your carbon footprint, but also about ensuring your long-term viability, remaining competitive and protecting the interests of your stakeholders.

How Green Moves can help organisations mitigate climate risk

Engaging Danielle King, Green Moves’ Founder and Director, on your board or committee will bring her sought-after expertise and skills to your team, better equipping you to manage and mitigate the risks posed by climate change.

Danielle will integrate climate risk considerations into your decision-making processes and operations. By adopting various measures such as climate risk assessments, scenario planning, adaptation strategies and stakeholder engagement, you’ll be able to identify and manage risks in the transition to a low-carbon economy.

At Green Moves, we have the expertise, experience and knowledge to guide you towards a more sustainable future.
