NABERS Energy, Water and Waste Assessments
NABERS (National Australian Built Environment Rating System) measures the environmental performance and impact of Australian buildings, tenancies and homes.
Assessments include energy efficiency, water usage, waste management and indoor environment quality. Ratings use measured and verified performance information, such as utility bills, and convert them into easy to understand star rating scale from one to six.
Many programs, including CitySwitch and Commercial Building disclosure, use this rating system as a benchmark and measure of success against benchmark.
